The club was established to help encourage and promote quality in the breeding of our Golden Retrievers through public education as well as educational opportunities offered to our members.

We promote competition in all sporting and other competitive events relative to the breed. Sportsmanlike conduct of our members is encouraged when they are participating in any dog-related activities.

We encourage all members and breeders to accept the standard of the breed as approved by the American Kennel Club (AKC) and the Golden Retriever Club of America (GRCA).

We work closely with rescue organizations and actively participate in rescue efforts.

We organize various activities throughout the year which include training, educational seminars, shows and trials.  We also enjoy annual social events such as our Awards Dinner to honor our Goldens’ achievements from the previous year.   Visit our activities and events page for details.
