Membership Opportunities

Membership is open to anyone 18 years of age or older who is in good standing with the American Kennel Club, The Golden Retriever Club of America, and supports the goals and ethics of the Tarheel Golden Retriever Club. Memberships are offered for Individuals and Households. Associate memberships (non-voting) are also available. All members are encouraged to participate in 2 club functions annually. As a member of the club, by your application, you agree to:

2023/2024 Membership RENEWAL: Closed until June 2024

Membership Renewals are due JUNE 1, 2023 and will be past due on July 1, 2023.


Membership Fees

Individual….$30 (Enjoys all club privileges including the right to vote and hold office)

Household….$35 (Two (2) adult members residing in the same household, each eligible to vote and hold office)

Associate…..$20 (Entitled to all club privileges except voting and office holding – offered to individual who live outside of the club’s area; also offered to individuals who live in the club’s area but are not active) 

Junior….No Dues (Open to children 9-17 years of age; a non-voting/non office holding membership which may automatically convert to regular membership at age 18.)

** Because the number of regular members determines the size of the quorum necessary for conducting business at Club Meetings, only people who expect to be active in the Club, attend meetings and participate in Club events, should maintain a regular membership.  Associate members are not counted for a quorum.  Members may change their membership category at annual renewal time in June.
